My couples will probably tell you I overuse the word “epic”, but I just can’t think of another word to best describe Liz & Jordan’s wedding at  Cripps Barn in the beautiful Cotswolds. Well and truly, epic.

Jordan & Liz are two incredible people and to be there on this day was a huge privilege. Liz styled everything from tip to toe and the day dripped with class and creativity – nothing pretentious, just genius. Just them.

The month of May started with a Mexican adventure including an amazing weekend spent with Angie & Adrian – two incredible people who had an awesome wedding.

I have so much to share with you from this trip, but here’s just four for now.

We had a blast finding good light and discovering new parts of London – a city that always has a surprise up its sleeve.

Their wedding will be nothing short of epic – a word I used a lot during this session.

Kelly & Mikey and their destination wedding at Mas Mauri near the Costa Brava, Spain. This was a truly epic day in so many ways and an amazing priviledge to be a part of.

This was an incredible day exploring and taking photographs with Ben & Debbie in Rome, Italy.

Two weeks earlier we were all in Santa Monica, California celebrating their incredible wedding and it was such a pleasure to catch them on their last day of honeymoon to take some portraits in this incredible city. It’s and amazing thing to meet up with wedding couples post wedding and so great when clients become good friends…

It seems a little crazy to be posting a mini review so early in the year, but I’ve had a rare chance to sit back and reflect this week. The year has been a blur so far, full of some incredible adventures with amazing people.

It all started on New Years day when I arrived in Vancouver to photograph an intimate and very special wedding in Whistler, BC. The year really couldn’t have started any better. Shortly after came amazing weddings in Santa Monica, the UK and Thailand, before heading to BodaF in Malaga, Spain and then onward to Rome for a honeymoon session. It was then briefly back to the UK  to photograph the wedding of my good friends Dan & Jess before flying out to Singapore, where I am right now.

It’s been an epic adventure and I feel so incredibly blessed to be doing this, but now all I can think about is getting home to spend time some precious time with Beth & Georgia.

I’ll be home soon girls…

Ane & Jon and their Chianti destination wedding in Tuscany, Italy. I’ve been itching to share this for so long…

These guys are truly awesome people and it was an incredible honour to both capture and be a part of this incredible weekend. Such emotion, such love and endless good times.  Ane a Brazilian bride, Jon a German groom together with friends from Brazil, Canada, all across Europe and beyond – something very special happens when people from all over the World come together to celebrate a couple in love.

Villa Vistarenni is a place of wonder and the perfect setting. Set in the rolling sun soaked vineyards of Tuscany it produced some real magic this weekend.

Ane & Jon, thank you so much for letting me in.

They told us it hasn’t rained in Puerto Naos for years. Well, this week storm after storm rolled in off the Atlantic coast and battered La Palma’s shore. I know it doesn’t look that way in these photos – and that’s the point. The day before the wedding the sun briefly shone. Matt & Dom hadn’t considered a first look before, especially the day before their wedding, but it suddenly sounded like a great idea knowing another impending storm was due the next day.

It was a very special moment.

We then went on to explore the natural wonder that is La Palma and took some portraits along the way. An amazing Island off the West African Coast. These guys are just amazing people to be around and are going to do great things together. Together they are Bride vs Groom and Dom and her brother are also extremely talented wedding photographers. I don’t really know what to say. Except that this year has been so incredible in so many ways and I feel so undeservedly blessed to have lived it…

It was the year that Georgia Mei Peers was born and has grown to be such an awesome little person in her first ten months.  She’s already flown ten times in her short little life and I feel so privileged to have had the opportunity to bring my family with me for some of the ride.  I love my girls to bits and I’ll post a few photographs from our first year as a family of three shortly.

For now though, here are a few photographs from a year packed full of amazing times I was so fortunate to have witnessed and memories that I was so fortunate to have captured. I’ve had the pleasure to meet so many amazing couples and made so many new friends at incredible weddings in destinations all over the World. Thank you so much to my amazing couples – I’m so blessed to have met you.
