I rendezvoused with Irene & Ji, from Guangzhou China, at the incredible Aman Sveti Stefan in Montenegro to take some pre-wedding photographs. It was also a chance for them to finalise plans for their upcoming wedding there later in the year.

Montenegro is a stunning Balkan country in Eastern Europe whose northern coast boarders with Croatia. Its geography is magnificent and at times you could be fooled into thinking you might be in New Zealand, especially when viewing the Bay of Kotor from on high.

Aman is one, if not the, most exclusive hotel brands in the world and with a keen interest in architecture and design, they are always a treat for me to visit. The Aman Sveti Stefan occupies an entire island in the form of a 15th-century fortified village as well as Villa Milocer across the bay.

Having visited the previous summer, it was a treat to experience this location in the middle of winter, which produced some muted tones warmed by the Aman interiors and of course, by Irene & Ji.
